At first there was the power, alone as the only thing in existance.
Over a period, the power realized the incompleteness, and dispaired.
This dispair lasted for a long while, then the change happened.
It was quick.
The power's consciousness simply disappeared, leaving its substance to do as it pleased.
Some of the power coalesced into hot burning stars, some hardened to form planets, and yet still more remained primal.
A universe was born.
The stars grew hot, but on the plantets, life was born.
This early life was simple, and the people knew little about the power.
They lived happy little ignorant lives.
On one planet, a child was born with a wonderous talent.
He could manipulate the primal power that existed everywhere, and he became the first user of magic.
Thinking the boy a god, the people decided that he should be named after their world, so when the time came, his adult-name was Ted.
In time, Ted outlived all who could remember his birth, and soon after, all who could remember stories of his birth.
His became more and more skillful with the power, and he had long ago ceased to be mortal.
Some, then many, declared him a god, and seeing this to be true, Ted ascended.
He made his home high above the planet, and helped the people with his wisdom.
Much time passed, and Ted grew tired, so he withdrew from the mortal world completely and just observed.
He grew even more tired, and soon he slept.
When he awoke, much had changed, and he was challenged by the new gods, who had ascended during his long slumber.
There were ten, and all ten were quickly slain, for they were new, and had not yet mastered all that there was to master.
The people, however, hated Ted for killing their gods, and demanded justice.
Ted learned guilt, and was sorry, but nothing would appease the people, so Ted decided to leave. He found a world that already had Gods and Wizards, and upon arrival, he became a mortal. Now he learns again the way of the people so as never to forget. Ted seeks a new chance to be powerful, and still be a person.
